After touring some new build homes in some other communities I had an idea of what I wanted and Thom helped me expand on that and made the vision we had come to life. I wanted a water feature that was the focal point and after discussing it with Thom he steered me in a different direction that worked perfect for the space and overall design. He understands materials, sizing, placement and function in ways that I don't so with his guidance and expertise we trusted his suggestions. Thom was part of the entire process down to taking me to local landscape material stores and walking me through options to help me select the right materials and items for my yard. He doesn't just design the yard, he manages the project, communicates regularly, and even read through our design guidelines and helped put together our submittal packet to our HOA and worked directly with the Architectural Committee to get it approved. Every aspect of my front and backyard landscaping has a thoughtful design or reason for it. I redid my landscaping in my last house and having someone who actually designs the yard and does things intentionally makes a huge difference. Thom has also continued to check in and stop by to make sure everything is growing how it should and that our plants are being properly watered and have helped us adjust accordingly. We purchased a new build home that had a blank slate for a backyard and poor quality landscaping for the front yard. Our backyard is a small space that we wanted to maximize. We hired Thom to come up with the design and installation. Every aspect of our front and backyard was intentionally designed down to the lines of the concrete, where each plant was placed, and what color materials were used. Our yards flow, look natural, and are functional. The plant selection for the backyard was intentional to build a privacy wall since we live close to all our neighbors. The plants for the front yard are all low maintenance and drought tolerant. Thom gave us some additional ideas that we would not thought of that make a huge difference in the overall look of the yard. We often get told by our neighbors that we have the best looking yard in the community and the Sales Reps often drive potential homeowners bye to show them what can be done. Some of the neighbors have used AI tools to design their yard and it really shows. Landscaping is an important investment and we wanted to make sure we did it right. We expanded our driveway, added concrete stairs at our walkway, concrete pavers in the backyard, a custom water feature, dry creek bed in the front yard, a dog run with a custom gate and deck, added a deck over our concrete patio, custom HVAC screen to match the dog run gate, artificial turf, rock, and landscape lighting in the front and back.
